The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has today announced the indefinite closure of the UN-Avenue, Runda due to the rising water levels on the road following the heavy downpour experienced yesterday night.
The sections affected are between off Ruaka Road round about and Magnolia close.
In a statement, KURA urged motorists to use alternative routes and exercise caution noting that they are closely monitoring the situation.
According to the Engineer Silas Kinoti’s led roads authority, one of the roads closed due to flooding include the UN-Avenue in Runda.
