Police said another reservist was injured in the attack during the Saturday night raid.

The attackers also burned a house and a motorcycle before stealing foodstuffs.
Witnesses said the victims were shot and killed after a battle with the militants.

Fear has gripped area residents who feel more attacks could be on the way.
They appealed for action from the government to tame the attacks.
More police officers were deployed to the area to pursue the attackers who are believed to be hiding in the nearby expansive Boni Forest.
Police said Sunday they were pursuing the attackers believed to be remnants of al Shabaab terror group.
This is the latest attack in the area which some officials have linked to land disputes in the fertile stretch.
The attacks have left many dead and displaced hence affecting development.
The area is near the Kenya-Somalia border where the terrorists cross at will for attacks before retreating to their areas of control.
Kenya has been staging operations to tame their activities.
Somalia has not had stable government to help in addressing such attacks.
