Kanu National Executive Council (NEC) has suspended its embattled Secretary General Nick Salat over alleged misconduct and violation of party constitution.
Kanu Chairman Gideon Moi has said Salat will face disciplinary committee within 30 days.
The independence party has overtime lost its luster and influence both nationally and within its Rift Valley backyard.
President William Ruto’s led United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party spelt a death knell to Moi’s party dwarfing it to the core.
