Police in Kaimosi, Nandi County are looking for a 17-year-old suspect who killed his cousin last evening, following an argument over charging a mobile phone.
Josphat Kibet, 31, was pronounced dead on arrival at Kapsabet County Referral hospital, from an arrow wound inflicted on him by the juvenile.
“Preliminary investigations indicate that the two had argued over who would charge their phone first, before the young man reached for an arrow, and stabbed the deceased on the left side of his chest before taking off,” the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) said.
A manhunt for the suspect is currently ongoing.
