Detectives attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations are holding two police officers following a bank robbery that occurred at Prime Bank on Monday afternoon.
The duo are attached to the Critical Infrastructure Protection Unit.
The two are currently undergoing investigative interviewing to establish how they also lost two firearms which were recovered outside Kiambu Hospital’s gate.
The firearms were dropped by a motorbike pillion passenger, shortly before the motorbike disappeared into darkness.
