14-year-old boy dies after he was stabbed by hospitalised police officer
The unfortunate attack happened yesterday when the officer went crazy and attacked fellow patients

A 14-year-old teenager has succumbed to his injury after he was yesterday stabbed by a police officer while in Bondo Sub-County Hospital.
The teenager succumbed earlier today while receiving treatment.
The unfortunate attack happened yesterday when the police officer who had been admitted to the male ward of the hospital went crazy and attacked his fellow patients.
Two patients were attacked during the incident.
The officer who was stationed at the Aram police Station in Rarieda had been admitted to the male ward on Sunday.
The hospital management told the police that distress screams were heard in the ward at around midnight which prompted the nurses who were on duty to rush in and investigate what was happening.
They found the officer had already attacked and stabbed a fourteen-year-old body in the neck and a twenty-year-old patient in the chest.
The officer was reportedly approaching a third patient when medical personnel raised an alarm, prompting the intervention of additional staff and security guards, who were able to subdue him.
The officer was still wielding a knife at the time.
Confirming the incident, Bondo Sub-County Commander Robert Aboki said the officer also wanted to attack the officers who had responded to the distress call.
Officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have launched investigations into the incident to determine the necessary actions to be taken.
The twenty year old patient who was stabbed on the chest has undergone an X-ray examination and is still receiving treatment at the same hospital.
