President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga have appointed fourteen advisors to assist in uniting Kenyans under the “building bridges” initiative.
They are Adams Oloo, Agnes Kavindu, Florence Omose, Mzee James Matundura, Maj Rtd John Seii and Bishop Lawi Mathiu.
Others are Maison Leshomo, Senator Mohamed Yusuf Haji, Morompi ole Ronkai, Bishop Peter Njenga, Rose Museo, and Zaccheaus Okoth
“The 14 shall work under the direction of the building bridges initiative secretariat which is headed by ambassador Martin Kimani and Paul Mwangi'” read part of the statement signed by Amb Kimani and Mwangi.
The initiative was launched by the two leaders on March 9, 2018, to create a united nation for all Kenyans and future generations.
Some of the issues that the advisers are expected to oversee include matters of ethnicity, exclusivity, lack of national ethos, devolution, divisive elections, safety and security, corruption, shared prosperity and rights and responsibilities.
