KRA impounds 21 illegally imported vehicles worth Sh30M

They will be crushed if found to be over eight-years-old.

The Authority said the owners have 30 days to produce necessary documents before the vehicles are destroyed.

Custom form C-32, logbook and passport are needed.

The form allows entry of vehicles on a 3-month temporary basis.

Owners can extend the stay or export the vehicle upon expiry of the date.

Passport is needed to prove owners are foreigners, thus qualified to use such registration numbers.
