Zamara launch online aggregator portal dubbed ‘E zamara’

Insurance and pension broker in Kenya, Zamara has launched an online portal platform that is expected to make it easy for their customers to secure insurance services and benefit in their comfort. 

Together with partners, Zamara launched an online aggregator portal dubbed ‘E zamara’ a one-stop shopping window that is meant to be a marketplace for clients to display their respective products and give a platform for customers to purchase and protect themselves against various risks. 

“As we celebrate this year’s customer service week, we are immensely grateful to our customers and partners for their support. With an investment of over Sh300 million, we are committed to providing the best possible service to our customers, we would like to say a special thank you for supporting us through and wish you a Happy Customer service experience,” Sundeep Raichura, Group CEO observed. 

The CEO claims that that there has been a spike in the uptake of insurance on digital platforms, and as such, Zamara is committed to accelerating and enabling easy access to pensions and insurance solutions online. 

“The digital transformation of the insurance industry will require a considerable amount of capital to invest. However, investing in digital technology will be necessary if insurers are to stay relevant to consumers,” said Raichura 

The CEO insists that COVID-19 has changed the perception of saving, and insurances witnessing a shift in customer needs and preferences, setting the stage for major shifts in insurance hence the need for more simplicity. 

According to Rosylyn Mugoh, Zamara’s Managing Director, the investment in technology and customer service is part of its commitment to providing its clients with the best possible experience with over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry.

“The Application is mobile-tailored efficiency and simplicity. We understand the evolving needs of our customers and have made significant investments in product development, innovation, and research to help bridge the penetration gap in the country,” she said. 

The decision for the insurer to opt for technology is likened to a train that has long left the station and those not on-board risk being left out forever. 

“I applaud the efforts we have made so far to reach this milestone. But so much ambition entails obligations. And I am absolutely convinced that this new customer focused innovation will be the main distribution channel for insurance and other financial solutions Service Week ahead,” Raichura alluded.
