Wiper divided over Kalonzo position two in NASA

Days after the National Super Alliance (NASA) unveiled its presidential flag bearer, blame and counter accusations continued to rock Wiper.

Kitui Governor Julius Malombe is now  accusing Kitui senator David Musila and national assembly minority leader Francis Nyenze  for antagonizing the opposition outfit.

The governor while addressing a press conference after clinching the wiper nomination for the gubernatorial race also denied narration that ‘his win is Charity Ngilu’s win’ saying those who voted for him were his supporters but not Ngilu’s who is also vying for governorship.

Malombe particularly riled at Nyenze for crying wolf that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka was shortchanged in the deal yet the MP was a member of the technical committee that crafted the deal.

”

As Kamba leaders and we community we are satisfied with the position Musyoka got and anyone thinking otherwise is pushing personal agenda”, said Malombe adding that the agenda of NASA is to drive Jubilee home and whoever becomes the presidential flag bearer is not an issue.

He wondered why Senator Musila and Nyenze kept away from the Uhuru Park event where the Nasa leader was named only to issue contradictory statements after the deal was sealed.

” Nyenze should have fronted for Wiper leadership in the technical committee sittings but instead has been issuing outrageous statements outside the committee forums.

In fact people are reading mischief on the legislator that he is pursuing interests of other leaders outside Nasa”, said Malombe. Malombe told  Musila to keep off Wiper affairs now that he has ceased to be a member adding that if one exits from a political outfit, he should henceforth stop interfering with its matters.

On the concluded Wiper nominations, the governor laughed off perception that Ngilu trooped her supporters to help him to knock out Musila in the primaries since he (Malombe) was a weaker candidate to beat in August elections.

”

Among the three of us, who is weaker. To me they are all equally weak and will show them dust in the August elections and those who aver that Ngilu had an hand in the wiper nominations will be in for a rude shock”, averred Malombe.

The governor told Musila to stop invoking the party leader into his political woes asserting that as chairman of the party, he should not have resigned just because he has lost a political battle.
