OKA chiefs call for media briefing amid split claims

The One Kenya Alliance principals have called for a press conference  today amid split claims in the alliance.

The meeting is scheduled to take place today and Kanu Chairman Senator Gideon Moi, Wiper’s Party boss  Kalonzo Musyoka, Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula and ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi will address the media at Hermosa Hotel, Karen, Nairobi.

“OKA Principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi, Sen Gideon Moi, Sen. Moses Wetangula, and Hon. Cyrus Jirongo invites you to attend an OKA Press Statement Address tomorrow (Wednesday 5th January) at 10:00 am at the Hermosa Hotel, Karen, Nairobi,” read the press invite,

This comes following the Deputy President William Ruto and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Raila Odinga overtures.

The future of One Kenya Alliance is in limbo as its leaders are divided between the DP and Raila.

Ruto is courting ANC and FORD Kenya for a possible political pact, while leaders at Bukhungu rally told the ANC boss to join Raila’s Azimio train.

While addressing the residents at Mumias on Friday, Ruto said Mudavadi was aware of his visit in the region.

ANC deputy leader, Ayub Savula, who has since backed Raila’s presidential bid says Musalia stands a chance to take leadership of the country from Raila if he supports him fully to take it over from Kenyatta.
