President Uhuru Kenyatta has nominated former Kenya Power CEO Ben Chumo as chairperson of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
Chumo will take over from Sarah Serem whose term ended last December.
Meanwhile, the Parliamentary Service Commission – the agency that employs MPs – and the Senate have invited applications from qualified Kenyans amid the salary row with the SRC.
The Speaker told Parliament on Wednesday that former Meru Woman Representative Florence Kajuju will be the chairperson of the Commission of Administrative Justice.
