A suspect who has been on the run after chopping off his friend’s arm over a Ksh.150 debt at Mariwa trading centre on November 2020 has been arrested.
Joshia Agutu, the suspect from Mariwa trading center, Awendo sub-county was arrested yesterday in Narok.
”The suspect allegedly attacked Maurice Ouma aged 27 years in his house and chopped off his left arm after they disagreed over the repayment of a debt.” says the Awendo Sub-county Deputy Police Commander Jacob Walukhu.
The victim’s wife said her husband had sold a Ksh.700 phone to the suspect, managing to only get Ksh.550 upfront.
It’s when he demanded the balance that the suspect attacked him. The man is currently receiving medical care at the Rapcom Hospital.
