Three perish in early morning grisly accident along Meru- Nairobi highway
A school going child was among three people who lost their lives in an early morning grisly road accident involving Kamiguro Education Centre school bus and a sand truck at Ntharene Market on the busy Meru-Nairobi highway.
The deceased who died on the spot include a pupil as well as the bus and lorry drivers.
According to eyewitnesses the early morning accident occurred after a school bus ferrying six pupils and one teacher collided head-on with a lorry ferrying sand.
The driver is said to have lost control of the vehicle and collided with the school bus belonging to Kamiguru Education Center Academy.
Area residents blame politicians of false and unkept renovation promises of the road and asking the incoming elected leaders to expedite the process.
The injured have since been rushed to the hospital and are recuperating well.
