A Meru member of parliament has defected from Jubilee to being an independent candidate after what he termed as consultation with the members of his constituency.
Kathuri Murungi who is the South Imenti MP has praised President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government saying that he has been able to develop his constituency through the support of Jubilee government.
He further asked the Sounth Imenti residents to vote in President Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto since they have done a lot for the country and Meru county at large.
