PSC to recruit 4,000 interns for affordable housing programme

The interns will be paid a stipend by the State Department for Housing and Urban Development, at a rate as determined by the government

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced plans to recruit 4,000  interns for the Affordable Housing Programme.

The first cohort of interns will be placed in the State Department for Housing and Urban Development.

The  interns, who will be serve for a non-renewable period of 12 months, will be required to have a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any of the above disciplines from a recognised university; must have  graduated not earlier than the year 2018; and be proficient in computer skills.

Duties include, but not limited to complete duties mutually agreed upon and assigned by the supervisors; document relevant skills acquired in their areas of deployment in the Affordable Housing Programme; market project sites across the country and actively participate in any relevant mentorship activities and additional responsibilities designed for the programme.

The interns will be paid a stipend by the State Department for Housing and Urban Development, at a rate as determined by the government.

On successful completion of the internship programme, the interns will be awarded a certificate by the State Department for Housing and Urban Development.
