President Ruto makes additional State appointments
President William Ruto has made more appointments to parastatals and state agencies.
Through a gazette notice dated February 24, the President appointed Muyuma Simmon Indimuli as Secretary Board of the State Corporations Advisory replacing Wanjiku Wakogi whose appointment was revoked.
He also appointed former Ainamoi Member of Parliament Sylvanus Maritim to chair the board of Information Communication and Technology Authority.
He replaces Fredrick Owino whose appointment was revoked.
Ugas Sheikh Mohamed was appointed chairman of the Capital Markets Authority board.
He had unsuccessfully contested for the Wajir county gubernatorial seat during last year’s general elections on an ANC ticket.
He takes over from businessman Nick Nesbitt whose appointment was revoked.
Youth, Sports and Arts Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba has appointed journalist John Njogu wa Njoroge to chair the board of Kenya Film Classification for a three-year term.
Members of the board appointed include popular Kikuyu gospel musician John Muigai Nyururu also known as Muigai wa Njoroge, Kipruto Kiptoo, John Osimbo, Grace Munjuri, Hariety Zita, Stephanie Maseki and Raphael Loperito.
Labour Cabinet Secretary Florence Bore also appointed Isaac Kaberia and Dr. Milka Kimonda as board members of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF).
They replace Prof. Marion Mutugi and Peter Mweleli whose appointments were revoked.
