President Ruto, DP Gachagua attending Interdenominational thanksgiving service in Kerugoya, Kirinyaga county

President William Ruto and his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua are currently attending an Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service in Kerugoya, Kirinyaga County.

The service was held at the Kerugoya Stadium.

Leaders from the region including Kirinyaga Senator Kamau Murango have dispelled claims that the president only attend prayer services in Mount Kenya region while development projects are taken are elsewhere.

Recently, the president launched projects worth billions of shillings during his three-day development tour in the three Nyanza tregion counties of Siaya, Homa Bay and Kisumu.

Similarly, plans are underway to construct a multi-specialty 4000 bed capacity hospital at a cost of Sh28billion in Eldoret. The opposition Azimio Coalition has since called for immediate stoppage of the project.

Today, president Ruto is accompanied by Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru, Secretary to The Cabinet Mercy Wanjau and Kirinyaga County Woman Representative Njeri Maina among other leaders.
