According to a statement from Police Spokesman Bruno Shioso, persons traveling from Waiyaki Way to Mombasa Road should divert at the Nyayo House roundabout and connect Kenyatta Avenue towards Moi Avenue proceeding to the Haile-Sellasie junction.
Motorists from Mombasa Road heading towards the CBD and Westlands have been advised to use the Southern Bypass or Likoni, Enterprise and Lusaka roads to avoid inconveniences on Uhuru Highway.
Additionally, only vehicles with parking access stickers will be allowed to park within the Nyayo Stadium premises.
“This is due to the high human and traffic congestion expected,” he noted.
