PNU belongs to Kibaki not Munya – Kiraitu Murungi
Meru Senator Kiraitu Murungi has said that the Party of National Unity (PNU) belongs to former President Mwai Kibaki and not Meru Governor Peter Munya since the political tribunal court ruled that the current leaders of the party are null and void.
Speaking at Buuri Sub County during a rally, Kiraitu who is eying the Meru Gubernatorial seat said that Munya cannot describe himself as a leader of a party which he did not form and he should concentrate on Meru affairs and leave his ambitions of vying for Presidency as a dream which will never be.
He said that if Munya is serious, he should campaign for his presidential ambitions countrywide and not only concentrate on Meru as Meru County cannot make him to be the President in 2022.
