NASA tries to consolidate its support base after Jubilee raid

National Super Alliance (NASA) today toured the County of Machakos in a bid to consolidate the voting base just a day after Jubilee brigade led by President Uhuru Kenyatta campaigned in the area , a perceived bedrock of opposition.

Led by NASA running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses wetangula, the opposition chiefs dismissed a narrative that Jubilee is making inroads in Ukambani.

The tough talking Kalonzo used the opportunity to reaffirm that Ukambani was nota swing vote, there are over 1.5Million registered voters as per the IEBC records.

“Ukambani votes are intact  for NASA, they can not even get 100,000 as they claim” said Kalonzo.

The wiper leader told off Jubilee for dangling carrots for the Kamba community by launching projects many of which, he claims are products of the grand coalition government.

In his visit on monday, Uhuru    toured Yatta Canal and launched Ksh1.85Billion Matuu-Ekala Kala -Kakuku road.

Kalonzo brushed off claims that he was willing to work with Uhuru Kenyatta other than his deputy William Ruto saying that the duo are similar.
