NASA team welcomed to campaign in Kiambu – Waititu
Kiambu leaders have told Nasa flag bearer to feel free and campaign in the area but desist from spreading propaganda and rubbishing jubilee administration flagship projects.
Led by Kabete Member of Parliament Ferdinand Waititu and Senator Kimani Wamatangi, they said that the Nasa brigade was welcome in the county because it is their democratic right to campaign in any part of the country but urged them to preach peace and cohesion among Kenyans living in the cosmopolitan county.
Waititu who is also the Jubilee Party gubernatorial candidate spoke at Ruaka in Kiambaa sub-county after addressing open air markets representatives drawn from the entire county and who assured him of their support said that the opposition’s bid to campaign in the county will be a waste of time and money owing to the fact that it is a Jubilee zone where Uhuru enjoys fanatical following.
‘Kiambu is a Jubilee where our President hails from and where he has a fanatical following. Anybody thinking of changing the trend is actually a day dreamer’, said Waititu who accused the opposition of always rubbishing every government development project for political expediency.
