“Nominated members in this assembly have been receiving abuse by our Colleague leaders and we have decided to bring this to the broad light. This is disrespect to us and even to the Assembly. Mark Mugambi has been peddling lies on Social media platforms and abusing even the party leader, President William Ruto. We will be going to court over that.” Nominated MCA and Deputy Minority Leader Joyce Kamau said.
They called on the UDA Party Tribunal should hold a disciplinary meeting to ensure that the legislator explains what he has been saying on social media.
Responding to the allegations, Mugambi said that they are mere allegations because she respects Women.
He said that his accusers are seeking millage after failing to ouster him as the Minority Whip and the Majority leader too.
“Those are just fabricated allegations to seek sympathy. I respect women and this shouldn’t mean they use feminism to gain political mileage, now that their planned ouster against me failed terribly.” Mugambi told The Informer Media Group.
