Mejja extends Captain Morgan partnership, hints at first solo album
Speaking exclusively to The Informer Media Group after the contract signing, Mejja said for the three consecutive years that he has been the lead ambassador for the rum drink, he has remained who is all through
Remaining authentic and not being requested to change how he dresses, sings or who he is, is what made Mejja resign his ambassador role with EABL’s captain Morgan.
Speaking exclusively to The Informer Media Group after the contract signing, Mejja said for the three consecutive years that he has been the lead ambassador for the rum drink, he has remained who is all through.
“Other brands will always tell you to change but for Captain Morgan, they have always wanted the real me and that has been the easy way for me to do this with them,” he stated.
This is even as he hinted launching his first solo album with their support as he promised a lot of new things for his fan including a tour across the country in various regions of the country including Meru, Kakamega, Nairobi, Mombasa, Nyeri, Kisumu and Nakuru.
Mejja hinted a different style from what people are always used to as he shared that he has given priority to the upcoming artist and a collaboration with an international artist (Juma Jux)
Mejja is expected to have a headline event with Captain Morgan in a major event of the year next month in Nakuru as he added that he might decide to share a song of his new upcoming album to the fans.
“I have not yet decided but I may share part of one of my songs in the new album which shall be launched in March next year during the event. I call upon all my fans to show up in Nakuru and let enjoy because it has been a while,” he called his artist.
This comes even as Captain Morgan continues to lead the way in redefining social experiences in Kenya. The Nakuru even is expected to be more than just a party but a bold statement of how to live life with flavor and adventure.
