MDG party to support NASA in August polls

The Movement for Democracy and Growth (MDG) party has said it will support the National Super Alliance in the coming general election.

Party leader David Ochieng said it was only Nasa under the presidential candidate Raila Odinga that will liberate Kenyans from poverty and other economic hardships.

”Its only thorough this super alliance that Kenyans can enjoy after Jubilee government had failed to improve the economy of this country” he said

 .

Speaking in Bungoma  after issuing nomination certificates to party aspirants, the
legislator who was elected on ODM  ticket said he will seek re election on the new party and urged Bungoma residents to vote for NASA leaders.

Ochieng said he had popularized his party and it was now  having candidates all over the  country.
He said the party aspirants especially those who will vie for member  of county assemblies had been trained on roles  of devolution and  on how to make assemblies work well.

”We have quality candidates who are issue-driven to drive the agenda in the counties through the assemblies” said Ochieng.
He regretted that  most assemblies were concentrating on passing only finance bills and none on development issues of environment, waste management or health.
