Maendeleo Chap Chap will go to court if leaders who incite people or encourage violence are not barred from vying for political seat in the country, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has said.
Speaking while he toured Nyambene region of Meru county to popularize the party, Mutua said candidates who encourage violence should be given a red card.
He said the party is a peaceful and it will ensure peace prevails during August elections and those who use vulgar language should be prosecuted.
He urged the Independence Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to ensure that there are measures to prevent politicians who incite people are prosecuted and barred from vying for any seat.
