M-Pesa services will be unavailable for most of the weekend due to a system upgrade, Safaricom has said.
The service will be interrupted between 10pm Saturday and 1pm Sunday.
“We expect all services to be restored and M-Pesa to be fully functional following the upgrade process,” CEO Bob Collymore said in a statement on Monday.
He asked customers to be patient during the interruption.
During the last interruption in July, international money transfer services, KCB, M-Shwari and M-Kesho services were also unavailable.
