Kenya to host World Chambers of Federation Africa Summit

Kenya National Chambers of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) has confirmed that the country would host the World Chambers of Federation (WCF) Africa Summit in April.
Speaking during a collaboration meeting between WCF Africa and KNCCI President Dr Erick Rutto said that over 4,500 delegates from 70 countries under the theme.
Dr Rutto reveals that the meeting, which will be organised under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) framework, aims to foster economic growth, innovation, and collaboration.
The summit will bring together key stakeholders, including business leaders, policymakers, and innovators, to explore strategies for driving sustainable economic growth, fostering innovation, and enhancing regional integration.
The delegates are expected to engage in high-level business sessions, thought-provoking panel discussions, and specialised workshops covering topics such as public-private partnerships, gender inclusivity, industrialisation, and technological advancements shaping Africa’s future.
Speaking at the event, WCF General Council member Richard Ngatia lauded Dr Rutto for spearheading the bid to host the summit and emphasized its importance in enhancing KNCCI’s global economic positioning.
He also highlighted the summit’s objective of converging Chambers of Commerce from around the world in Nairobi to foster connections among governments, private sectors, and chambers globally.
KNCCI chair of the board of trustees Kiprono Kittony, described the summit as a platform for showcasing Kenya and Africa as premier destinations for business and investment. He urged businesses to join KNCCI to access the exclusive benefits of chamber membership.
Vice Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Executive Board and Chairman of ICC Kenya Patrick Obath remarked: “The Summit is a testament to Africa’s readiness for the global stage. By promoting partnerships and supporting innovation, it will create a sustainable growth blueprint and shape Africa’s economic future.”
KNCCI Chief Executive Officer Ahmed Farah invited investors and entrepreneurs to leverage this opportunity for direct global market engagement.
The WCF Africa Summit 2025 is expected to bring together 4,500 delegates, 350 exhibitors, and global stakeholders. The focus will be on trade, innovation, and sustainable development across Africa.
