Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) troops under the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) recently carried out a free Medical Camp at Hoosingo Health Centre in Somalia.
The noble exercise was led by the Officer Commanding Major Mathew Ingolan at Hoosingo that saw over ninety area residents including infants benefit from the medical services.
Hoosingo District Officer Abdikadir Omar Shale expressed his gratitude to the KDF troops for the kind gesture noting that the medical camp has gone a long way to assist area residents with their medical needs.
“We are grateful for the sustained security efforts in our area and the love KDF has extended to us,” said Abdikadir.
The locals thanked KDF for the medical assistance and pledged their support for AMISOM troops’ activities in the ongoing efforts to stabilize Somalia.
