Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha is to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House for handover of KCPE 2020 results report ahead of the official announcement.

The 2020 KCPE examinations kicked off on March 22,2021 as 1.2 million candidates sat the for the exams.

The national exams were five- months delayed due to closure of learning institutions to lower the spread of Covid-19.

The Ministry of Education had put tough Covid-19 protocols given the rising numbers of positive cases in the country.

Separately, Form 4 candidates are set to conclude the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination on April 26.

Magoha yesterday assured parents and guardians that the government has already put in place measures to ensure a smooth travel of all KCSE candidates to their home counties, including those entering, leaving or passing through the zoned areas.

Speaking during a press conference to provide updates on the progress on ongoing KCSE at Kenya High school, Magoha also noted that the 2020 KCSE examination, now on its 13th Day, has progressed excellently well countrywide.

Despite the heavy rains pounding some parts of the country, he said the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has delivered all examination papers to all centres leading to a smooth exercise.
