Azimio deputy presidential candidate Martha Karua took her campaign trail to Deputy President William Ruto’s backyard.
Karua walked through the streets of Eldoret asking her supporters to turn up in numbers during the August 9 polls.
Karua walked for approximately four kilometers waving to residents and urging them to vote for the Azimio One Kenya Coalition outfit.
Karua later held her main political rally at Huruma grounds after attending a church service at the Ayub Kinyua PCEA church.
“The church should also help Kenyans to understand the difference between bad and good even as we prepare to elect leaders for our nation”, Karua said.
It was a first for Karua since her appointment as the Azimio la Umoja running mate.
The region is Deputy President’s home county as well as a stronghold for Kenya Kwanza however, Azimo enjoys some support within Eldoret town.
