Chaos and division continues rocking the National Super Alliance(NASA) as two of the co-principals declared that they are not ready to revive the coalition.
Members of Parliament allied to the Amani National Congress(ANC), led by Musalia Mudavadi have maintained that the NASA idea has been overtaken by political events.
Speaking at Jesus Teaching Ministry in Nairobi, MPs who accompanied Musalia to a church service advice ANC leader that NASA would never serve his interest of becoming President and he must withdraw from the alliance.
“We urge Mudavadi to find new partnership and forge a working relationship with parties and individuals who care about the economy,” Senator Sakaja said as he maintained he is still a Jubilee Party member.
Kakamega MP Cleophas Malala said Nasa died when Raila shook hands with President Uhuru Kenyatta without involving his fellow principals.
Elsewhere, Wiper Democratic Movement Leader Hon Kalonzo Musyoka has downplayed insinuations that if leaders do not unite they will perish politically.
Speaking yesterday when he attended Sunday service at Cathedral of Praise Church in Imara Daima, Kalonzo said Raila’s plan to revive NASA is premised on negative energy.
“I am focused on the unity of purpose that will bring the country together, bring forth ideas that will help build the economy which in turn will generate jobs for the youth who are languishing in poverty,” he said.
According to him, there can never be unity of leaders aimed at an individual but rather unity that is aimed at prosperity and cohesion of the nation.
Wiper Leader said Kenya will stand tall among the community of nations and that peace and tranquility will reign.
Leaders who accompanied the Wiper boss drummed support for his Presidency saying he stands the best chance to unite this country, grow the economy and provide jobs to the youth.
Embakasi MP Julius Mawathe says Kalonzo is the best bet for this country whose peace credentials are celebrated world over.
Hon Robert Mbui of Kathiani added that Kalonzo Presidency will revive the economy of this country and that his long experience will help bring forth stability.
Also present included Mps Joyce Kamene of Machakos County, Hon. Charles Nguna of Mwingi West,Hon. Kimilu of Kaiti Constituency.
The statements came as Deputy President William Ruto asked NASA leaders not to obstruct President Uhuru Kenyatta’s development agenda to Kenyans.
