Top government honcho order juniors to block a leading media house from institution’s social media handles
A leading state corporation under the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife currently under the leadership of Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala that is enjoying lucrative revenue from state functions and corporate events has resorted to blocking a leading media house from the institution’s social media sites following in-depth exposées of the rot at the state owned facility.
The leadership of the institution is grappling to shed massive corruption amid friction with senior officials at the ministry who are said to be disgruntled with the current state of affairs of the parastatal.
The implicated officials are said to be carting away loads of documents from their respective offices over fears the investigative authorities would pounce on them anytime.
A senior official at the institution was overheard from a high end hotel in the city telling all and sundry that he is a man of means with deep tentacles within government offices and thus he remains unshaken over any eventuality.
