I’ll work with Uhuru to end Turkana’s suffering, says Nanok

Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok has once again pledged to work with the President to end suffering in the county.

Nanok, who is also Council of Governors chairman, said no other presidential election will be held until 2022.

“Kenya has one President who was elected by Kenyans,” he said, concerning Uhuru Kenyatta who was sworn-in after two elections.

But NASA leader Raila Odinga has insisted Uhuru is an illegitimate President as the elections were a “sham”.

The veteran Opposition leader was to be sworn-in on Tuesday but the plan was postponed amid pressure for talks, which Uhuru has turned down.
