Co-op Bank offer scholarship to needy student in Nairobi

Co-operative Bank of Kenya as part of its initiative to rollout scholarships to bright needy students has offered scholarship to a student based in Nairobi.

“Thank you Co-operative Bank for helping my brother join Upper Hill High School. Through the Co-operative Foundation, my brother will be able to study and achieve his dream of becoming a communications officer just like myself,” Mutua stated.

The co-operative bank foundation provides scholarships to bright needy students thereby enhancing access to quality education.

The lender is sponsoring over 1,000 students across the country.

It has offered scholarships to children in Taita Taveta, Nairobi and Nakuru counties.

The scholarship beneficiaries are selected every year from the eight provinces in Kenya and enjoy a full 4-year secondary education scholarship.
