Global leadership icon Robin Sharma inspires hope at Nairobi forum

Shree Visa Oshwal Community in Nairobi recently hosted, ‘Everyday Leadership’ an event featuring globally renowned Leadership Expert and Bestselling Author, Robin Sharma.
The event, held at the Sarit Centre courtesy of Victoria Commercial Bank (VCB), provided insights into the hidden habits for winning in business and life, equipping attendees from the corporate world with strategies to enhance both their personal and professional lives.
The event attracted a diverse group of professionals, entrepreneurs, and aspiring leaders eager to implement Sharma’s leadership principles. Attendees left with practical, actionable strategies to foster success in both their careers and personal endeavours.
Sharma, celebrated for his bestselling books, The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari and The Leader Who Had No Title, has inspired leaders globally, including executives from Fortune 500 companies. The 60-year-old Canadian national, who was born in Kenya, worked as a litigation lawyer before his life transformed .
Sharma spoke extensively and in detail around the concept of taking responsibility as a leader and not being full of excuses.
“You lead where you are planted. Leadership is the opposite of victimhood. And therefore to lead is all about service and taking responsibility. Impact leadership is a situation whereby you take action and be in control. Ensure live a life that when you die, the world cries while you rejoice. Essentially then, a good leader has to leave a mark.”
