Fuel pump prices goes up by Sh9.90 per litre

Kenyans will have to dig dipper into their pocket to pay for fuel after a review by the Energy Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).

The Sh9.90 rise in fuel will see petrol in Nairobi retail at a Sh144.62, diesel (Sh125.50) and kerosene (Sh113.44), respectively.

EPRA insisted that the rise in the price of fuel has factored into the fuel subsidy programme by the government, insisting that the prices of fuel would have gone higher were it not for the government’s intervention.
