Colonel Fabian Lengusuranga takes over as President Ruto’s new Aide-De-Camp

President William Ruto has picked a new Aide-De-Camp (ADC) Colonel Fabian Lengusuranga from Kenya Army.

Col. Lengusuranga takes over from Timothy Lekolool, the man who stood behind Ruto since he was sworn in as the fifth President.

Lekolool, who is drawn from the Kenya Navy, has been promoted to a Brigadier and deployed to the Department of Defence headquarters.

The new ADC is deputised by Lt. Col. Damaris Agnetta also from the Kenya Army.

She takes over from Racheal Nduta Kamui who has been promoted to a full Colonel and deployed to the Department of Defence headquarters.

Lengusuranga was commissioned in 1999 and is a seasoned and decorated military officer serving as a senior Special Forces branch commander.

Lt. Col. Damaris Agnetta was commissioned in 2003 and has been serving as an Artillery officer. She’s also served in the UN Observer Mission.

ADC serves as a symbol of dignity for the presidency and assists on matters of security, protocol, and military tradition.
