Former Bomet governor Isaac Ruto’s mother Jane Tirop is dead

Former Bomet governor Isaac Ruto’s mother has died while receiving treatment at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret.

Chama Cha Mashinani secretary-general Albert Koech said through a statement that Mama Jane Tirop died.

“It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of Mama Jane Tirop, devoted mother to Governor Isaac Ruto, CCM Party Leader. Mama Jane departed to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, in MTRH Eldoret, Kenya,” he said.

Koech also said that the party has paused campaigns in order to mourn with their party’s family.
