Feuding Senators disagree over loot to salvage County Chief’s political lifeline
A section of wheel-dealing Senators reportedly said to have been deeply involved in underhand dealings to ‘salvage’ the political lifeline of a recently embattled governor who risked being sent to oblivion are entangled in a vicious fight over disagreements in sharing of the loot availed to one of them ostensibly to facilitate a favourable decision in favour of the governor.
Grapevine has it that an intermediary who severally met the County Chief and his handlers at his private executive office in Nairobi’s UpperHill are where money to bankroll lobbying efforts was provided in both Kenya Shillings and US Dollars allegedly diverted a substantial amount instead of channeling it to the intended purpose.
It is now only a matter of time before the cat is let out of the bag as the feuding so called honourable members threatened each expose each other’s dirty linen in public.
