Drama ensued at Shaabab Estate; Nakuru County after a married man got stuck during sex escapades with his wife younger sister.
The two lovebirds were saved by police officers who used teargas canisters to disperse surging crowd that wanted to break into the witch doctor’s place where they were held for help.
The episode elicited divided opinions among residents with some describing it as stage-managed scene to hoodwink Kenyans.
The two were cornered at White Rock lodging few metres from the witchdoctor’s premises.
Eric Omondi a resident said it was a trick used by the self-proclaimed witch-doctor in cohorts with the alleged wife, husband among others for commercial purpose.
“This is a skit aimed at manipulating residents to believe in those supernatural powers. The boda boda operators who rescued the said couple did not allow others to experience.” He said.
A boda operator who asked not to be named supported Omondi sentiment accusing some of his colleagues of being in the racket of the witch doctor.
But Margaret Nabwire a mother of five from Kisii narrated how she decided to engage a witchdoctor to catch her adulterous husband.
She pointed that, her man has been a serial cheater hence the reason to seek help from a witch-doctor.
“We are married for 20 years but it has been a tough journey living with an adulterous man who sells everything and gets women to enjoy.” She said.
Nabwire added that, recently they decided to sell a plot in Kisii for Sh 800,000 to help them buy a Public Service Vehicle but the husband decided to sneak to Nakuru with her younger sister.
“He cheated me that she was on his way to Mombasa to shop for the Nissan but I got a clue he was with my younger sister in Nakuru to enjoy.” She added.
“I got Annet Mutheu witch-doctor numbers and when I called her, she promised to help me but had to pay Sh 40,000. I agreed in bid to catch and shame him for sleeping with my sister.” She said.
After the witch-doctor received her cash, it is said she conducted her rituals leading to the two ‘sticking’ together.
