The Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has this morning presided over the official opening of a two-day National Assembly majority party conference on legislative matters at a Nairobi Hotel.
The DP thanked the Kenya Kwanza Members of Parliament for what he termed as “their steadfast role” during the vetting of the Cabinet Secretaries and Principal Secretaries that has now enabled a fully constituted government.
Gachagua seized the opportunity to request the Finance Committee to expedite the vetting of Commission for Revenue Allocation (CRA) commissioners owing to the commission’s crucial role in revenue allocation and appealed to the honorable members to support the government’s legislative agenda to ensure they deliver on government plan.
