Co-op Bank reward clients with Sh10,000 daily prizes for using PesaLink

The Co-operative Bank of Kenya is offering a rare opportunity for its clients to win Sh10,000 daily when they send money to any local bank through PesaLink.

The campaign program dubbed ‘Pay, Send & Win Promotion’ will run for thirty 30 days from July 1, 2023 at 08.00 hours, to July 31, 2023 at 23.59hours.

The month-long campaign program is open to all new and existing clients of PesaLink who wish to join at any time during the period.

Members willing to participate in this promotion, will be deemed to have read, understood, and accepted to be bound by the terms and conditions.

Entry guidelines demand that participants can enter the promotional campaign by making a payment using PesaLink, whereby each transaction made through PesaLink will count as one entry into the promotion.

Further, there is no limit to the number of entries a participant can have, as each valid transaction will be considered a separate entry.

The draws will be conducted daily to select the winner for that day, whereby the winner will be chosen randomly from all eligible entries received on that day, a process to be managed and supervised by the campaign organizers in the presence of Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB).

After the draw is done and the winner found, the winner will be notified via SMS, email or phone call about their selection, and the prize money will then be deposited directly into the winner’s bank account.

However, the money is deposited after the winner appears in person at the PesaLink offices at International House 7th Floor, Mama Ngina Street, Nairobi with some form of identification like for instance, a National ID, Passport, Driving License and the confirmation of transaction to claim their prize.

The winners will be announced daily to collect their prize within 30 days from when the promotion is completed, whereby they are required to respond to the notification within a specified time period of 48 hours to claim their prize.

Terms and conditions of the campaign continue to explain that if the winner fails to respond within the given time frame, an alternate winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries.

Organizers of the promotion campaign, however, have issued a disclaimer; that any participant found to be in violation of the campaign rules or engage in any fraudulent activities will be disqualified. The campaign organizers further, reserve the right to disqualify any participant without providing a reason.

They have also indicated that they will not be responsible for any technical issues, delays, or errors that may occur during the campaign, adding that by participating in the campaign, participants grant the campaign organizers the right to use their names and images for promotional purposes.
