Parliamentary committee chairperson on warpath with members for swindling the loot
A chairperson in one of the powerful parliamentary committees is on a warpath with other committee members for allegedly eloping with a loot he obtained from a would-be interested party ostensibly to sway the committee decision.
Irate committee members have now vowed to teach the ‘greedy’ boss a lesson by ensuring they draft a negative report to the detriment of the interested party that offered the bribe totaling to tens of millions.
Committees of the August House have been facing allegations of corruption and bribery amid confessions and accusations including demands for money to influence committee decisions and the acceptance of bribes that have severely tainted its reputation.
