Meru leaders now want Senator Murungi to retire from politics

Meru Senator Kiraitu Murungi has been urged to stop been involved in active politics for the mistakes he has caused the people of Meru County.

Leaders in Meru said that Kiraitu has sold the Meru people in the market meaning he sold the Alliance Party of Kenya which was their party.

They also expressed their shock regarding Kiraitu’s sentiments on Jubilee Party stating that it was a wrong move to merge parties into one big party.

They further said that Kiraitu campaigned for Governor Munya in 2013 and later came to say that he didn’t know what kind of a leader he was stating that he made a mistake and to rectify it the people of Meru should elect him as governor in August 2017.
