Betika, a betting firm in the country head of technology Fred Gitonga Njagi, was today charged at Milimani Law Courts for allegedly stealing Sh11 million from the firm.
Gitonga is accused of committing the offense on diverse dates between January 13, 2022, and February 3, 2022, while serving at Shop and Deliver (Betika) which came into his possession by virtue of his employment.
Cumulatively, he is accused of defrauding a total of Sh11,007,393.
He was released on a cash bail of Sh2 million or an alternative bond of Sh5 million.
