Three marriages, big TV and gas cooker: Pritty Vishy reveals what once won her over
Kenyan content creator Pritty Vishy has opened up about her colourful relationship history, revealing that she has been married three times and, at one point, a man’s household possessions influenced her decision to settle down.
Speaking on A Gen Z Story, Vishy candidly reflected on her romantic experiences while growing up, saying one of her marriages was partly inspired by the comfort she associated with a man who owned a large television and a gas cooker.
“I’ve been married thrice. Kuna yenye nilikuwa married because nilipata ako na TV kubwa na gas,” she said.
The revelation amused and surprised the hosts, while offering another glimpse into the experiences that shaped Vishy before she became a prominent social media personality.
Her latest disclosure is consistent with previous accounts in which she has spoken about relationships she entered at a young age, including some that began while she was still in school.
In one past account, Vishy recalled leaving home after returning late from seeing a boyfriend and eventually moving in with him. She later discovered that the man was allegedly involved in criminal activities and returned home, after which she was taken to boarding school.
She has also previously recounted another relationship in which a man offered her a place to stay while she waited for tensions at home to settle, only for her to later discover that he was already married.
Vishy gained widespread public attention through her highly publicised relationship with Stevo Simple Boy, although the two eventually parted ways.
Her latest revelation has once again put her romantic past in the spotlight, with the content creator offering fans a candid account of the circumstances and choices that shaped her journey before fame.
