President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday urge Jubilee and affiliated parties delegates to remain united and focused to ensure a victory in the fresh presidential elections slated for October 26.
Speaking at State House, Nairobi, President Kenyatta told the delegates that they are competing against opponents who are trying to create a hostile political environment on the basis of tribal animosity.
“We don’t want abusive, divisive and tribal politics. We know we have an agenda to unite and bring Kenyans together, build roads and improve the general welfare of our citizens,” said the President Kenyatta, adding “I know by working together we will win and implement the Jubilee transformative agenda of uniting Kenyans.”
President Kenyatta said that Jubilee will be vindicated as a party that stands for the interests of all Kenyans after the fresh presidential election.
