PSC begin interviews for shortlisted CAS candidates

The Public Service commission (PSC) has commenced interviews for shortlisted candidates in the Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) posts.

Each of the 48 candidates scheduled for interviews today has been allocated 30 minutes between 8.30 to 3.30 to justify their suitability in their assigned docket.

The total number of shortlisted candidates are 240.

Among the shortlisted candidates are digital strategist Dennis Itumbi, former Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary General Wilson Sossion, Bishop Margaret Wanjiru, former Samburu governor Moses Lenolkulal, former Narok Deputy governor Evalyn Aruasa, and former Starehe MP Charles Njagua.

Candidates were required to bring original academic and professional certificates and transcripts, clearance certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) and from the National Police Service (NPS).

The CAS post attracted a total of 4,000 applicants.
