Man arrested after allegedly killing his two children in Kisii

Police yesterday arrested a man in Kisii county after he allegedly hacked his 2 children to death and disposed their bodies at a farm.

Nyamache OCPD Kipkulei Kemboi confirmed the incident saying the suspect, Nelson Momanyi was arrested shortly after committing the crime.

The two minors aged 10 months and 2 years had deep cuts on their heads and neck caused by a machete.

The bodies of the deceased children were moved to Nyamache Hospital mortuary as investigations into the incident continue.

Although residents suspect that Momanyi had mental health problems and was in and out of the hospital in the recent past, the motive for the gruesome beheading of the pair remains unclear.
